Children Camps at Mississauga Chinese Alliance Church
MCAC is offering multiple camps at the church this year.
Camps Available
1. Children Summer Camp
July 15-19, 2024, 9am – 3:30pm
Min age: must be 4 years old by July 1st, 2024
Max age: finished grade 6 by June 2024
Camp Fee: $110
Early Bird: $100 (Before May 12, 2024)
Extended hours available: 3:30pm - 6pm (additional $40/week)
Registration Deadline: June 30, 2024
Scuba - Diving into friendship with God
Diving below the surface to build strong faith!
Take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!
Your children will go through a fun filled and learning packed days at our camp. The camp teaches kids lessons of the bible stories, with activities to build them up and encourage them to share and enjoy being around friends.
2. Music Playhouse Camp
July 16-18, 2024, 10am – noon
Parents must attend with their children
Age requirement: 2-4 years old by July 16, 2024 ( This Music Playhouse is mainly focused on Age 2-4. However, a sibling who is 5 years old is also welcome to register so that they can attend together.)
Camp Fee: $50
Early Bird: $40 (Before May 12, 2024)
Registration Deadline: June 30, 2024
Music sessions will be conducted by Samuel and Karen Liu, Certified Yamaha Music Education System Instructor. Karen is Accredited Music Therapist and Samuel is a Community Drum Circle Facilitator. Parent’s accompaniment required.

3. Sports Camp
July 22-26, 2024, 9am – 3:30pm (Parents can pick up kids from 3:15 pm)
Age requirement: children born between 2012 - 2018
Camp Fee: $160
Early Bird: $150 (Before May 12, 2024)
Extended hours available: 3:30pm - 6pm (additional $40/week)
Registration Deadline: July 7, 2024
This camp will be held in partnership with Scripture Union.
The camp is all about having fun, learning core sport skills, making new friends and growing in faith.
A typical day:
Warm Up Game + Stretching: A fun non-elimination game keeps everyone moving as we warm up for the day.
Sports Sessions: Camper rotate between three sports (soccer, basketball and ball hockey) where they learn a new skill everyday. Skills are reinforced by drills, then games that highlight the new skill and finish with a scrimmage.
Team Talks: Everyday includes time in God’s Word where we discover who Jesus is and how to have a relationship with Him.
Big Games: Camp finishes with super fun games.
Seeking Camp Volunteers
If you are regularly attending MCAC and are seeking work to serve God, then we have an excellent opportunity for you. We are seeking volunteers for the three Children Summer Camps this year.
- Children Summer Camp - July 15-19 8:30am - 3:30pm or 3:30pm -6 pm
- Music Camp - July 16-18 10am - noon
- Sports Camp - July 22 - 26 8:30am - 3:30pm or 3:30pm - 6pm
You can sign up for more than one volunteer position. Before signing up, please note that:
- Age requirement: Currently Grade 8 and up
- A regular attendee at MCAC
